Balikbayan Box
The Balikbayan box is a beloved Filipino item. Filled with all sorts of goodies, this box is almost always sent between the Philippines and the US. That being said, I always felt that this box was a bridge between my family here and my family in the Philippines. I wanted this pin to show the items we usually sent and received, from the cans of spam and corned beef, to the Filipino clothing and bags. There are also a few characters that want to stowaway on the next trip!
